Untamed is the conclusion in the Unbeautiful series. It cannot be read as a stand alone novel.

The danger has escalated. Ryler is in deep with Donny Elderman’s crew. He has been taken under Doc’s (Emery’s father) wing and is being molded into his soldier. Doc is exposing Ryler to more and more of the operations. At the same time he is forcing Ryler to keep Emery in line.

Her parents are threatening to take her home. Her secrets are starting to surface. She is frightened and has no one to trust. The one person she thought she could trust works for her father. But at the same time, Ryler seems different than the men that have worked for her father. He seems to care about how she feels and what she wants.

The life threatening situations escalate into dark danger. So many REVELATIONS come into play. The suspense and danger comes from many directions. The REVELATIONS are shocking. It has readers fearing for both Ryler and Emery’s life. They are just pawns in the overall game.

It will be up to Ryler and Emery to figure out how to survive. The world of good and evil is colliding and they are stuck in the middle. The only thing that is pure and abundantly clear is their feelings for each other. Can they both survive and find the normal kind of life they both desperately crave?

Untamed does not end on a cliffhanger. Reader’s will be very satisfied with the outcome. Ryler and Emery will find their “normal”.

I highly recommend the Unbeautiful Series. It is intense, frightening, emotional, and has a pure romance that will make your heart race.

This was a great continuous to Unbeautiful. I knew the second I finished book 1, I would have to read this. I was in a bit of a reading funk and kinda stuck. I was on the same book for 3 weeks. Then I decided to start reading Unbeautiful and I finished it in one day, and started this one the next day. It felt great to read 2 books in 2 days again. I am so happy to have read this. Its not your every day happy go lucky book. Emery has a hidden past, that she doesn't even quite understand herself. Getting to take this journey with Emery and Ryler to unravel all the mysteries, was had me hooked. Highly recommend reading this series.
Untamed is the continuation and I guess the conclusion of the Unbeautiful series. I was completely confused as to what exactly was going on with her in Unbeautiful. Is she psychotic? Where is her brother? What exactly is going on in her "hometown"? Well we get all those answers in this book.

Untamed was very well written and I think I liked it a bit more than Unbeautiful. The book was flowing so well and had all the right feels for me until the last three chapters. I was leaning toward giving the book a five star review, that is just how good it was, and then it just wrapped up a bit too neatly and seamed somewhat rushed and little too "fluffy" of an ending for all of the content in the series.

The author did seem to leave it open enough though that if she ever decides to write more about Emery and Rylar's lives she could do so. I would have liked the book to be maybe a bit longer with a little more detail/edginess for the ending.

With all that being said, I couldn't ignore that the majority of the book was perfect.
Let's talk about the cover first, I honestly would've purchased this book based on the cover alone.It's so visually striking,sexy,dirty and gritty.I love it,for sure in my Top 5 favorite covers.

Now onto the review of the actual book....
I'm going to start with what I didn't like about the book.There were three characters who I continually wished death upon,since the first book. Those characters are, Emerys parents (I clinched my fist whenever they were on the page *rolls eyes*), and her psychotic ex boyfriend Evan. Evan is the definition of a piece of s*** in my opinion.

Untamed picked up a little bit after Unbeautiful ended. We all now know the true Identity of "Doc", he's Emerys sociopath father.Yes I do believe he's a sociopath, he never once showed any remorse for the crap he's down. So Doc has hired Rhyler to pretty much be Emerys bodyguard. He makes it seem to Rhyler that it's for her protection,but we know better than that. One thing I know for sure is I wouldn't mourn his death. haha

Thank God that Rhyler came into Emerys life when he did, I hate to think of what would've become of her without him.I loved them so much,their chemistry even whens she doesn't want to trust him is beautiful. Speaking of Rhyler... let me just say mmmm he's a great character,in my head he's so sexy. I liked him in this book because he wasn't afraid to stand up for what was right. There was some good character growth, I think moving on from the pain of ones past is an important step in becoming the you you're meant to be. ( wow that sounded sooo cheesy lol ) No but seriously the suspense and psychological aspects of this book were so intriguing. I found myself nervous,confused and excited all at once. It was a beautiful experience,despite the messed up parts. Actually I enjoyed the messed up parts,I must be a pyschopath ( just kidding ) )

I'm going to go ahead and wrap this up since it's almost 2 a.m. , I should've gone to bed once my daughter fell back asleep but I really wanted to get this review up while the book is fresh in my mind.
I really hope this review was helpful to people that maybe were on the fence about continuing on after the first.
